What data we collect
We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form on this website: name, email address, phone number (optional) and the text of your message. We collect no other personal data, we do not profile visitors and we carry out no automated marketing.
If you contact us via WhatsApp or by phone, the data is whatever you choose to share in the conversation, processed for the same purposes.
Why we process it and on what basis
We use your data solely to respond to your enquiry and, should you decide to stay with us, to manage your booking and stay. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, where applicable, legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR) relating to short-term rentals.
How long we keep it
Messages received through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, in case of a booking, for the period required by law. You may request deletion at any time.
Who it is shared with
Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. To operate the website and the booking process we rely on the following providers, acting as processors or independent controllers:

Cookies
This website uses no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar tool.
The only element that sets cookies is the embedded Google Maps map in the “Location” section, which shows you the exact position of the property. These are Google's own technical cookies, over which we have no control: for details you can consult Google's privacy policy.
On your first visit we show a brief informative notice. Your acknowledgement is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), solely so it is not shown again on every visit: it is not a cookie and it is not transmitted to anyone.
Your rights
At any time you may request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or you may object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). Simply write to oleum.servizi@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as possible. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
